There was a time when people believed that in addition to good forces, there are evil forces on this earth, and they roam among us. However, these people were strong and fearless and decided not to give in to the desolate evil forces. The men began to chase them with huge, scary masks. They called them mummers. And the women... the women decided to banish them by creating something beautiful. Our great-grandmothers believed that dark forces could sneak through the openings of clothes and do a lot of damage, so they began to embroider the strangest figurines and signs to chase them away. Colorful threads intertwined above and below and seemed to come to life in the hands of young and old. Thus was born the Bulgarian "embroidery", which brings with it a lot of history, many messages and a lot of beauty. Although there are universal signs for each region of Bulgaria, each embroidery is authentic, as the authors always added something of themselves. The brand carries with it a message - not to forget where we come from, not to forget who we are and to pass on our history to the generations after us, because... a nation without a past, has no future.
